Living History
Social media images are a vital tool for reaching audiences and teaching history. At Claude Moore Colonial Farm, I developed content that connected visitors with the reality of daily life in the 18th century.

Slavery and Social Media
At George Washington’s Mount Vernon, I worked with others to highlight the enslaved people who lived there. In the absence of historical photos, I had the idea of digitally combining the silhouettes with contemporary photographs. This technique removed a barrier to bringing the subject to social media and provided no-cost new assets.
Historic House
At George Washington’s Mount Vernon, I created educational social media content about the day-to-day operations of the plantation estate in the 18th century.
